Hi all,
I sculpted this figure in the last few weeks in 75mm. It shows an marcomannic warrior (166-180 AD- the markomannic wars) captured by the roman army.
Greetings,
Martin

Martin, excellent sculpting , not a period I,m too familiar with. Will it be part of a set. Many thanks for showing.

Cheers Ken

Brilliant sculpting Martin. Clearly his hands are tied behind his back, he is a prisoner of war. Will he have a Roman legionnaire standing behind him with a sword in his back??

Hi,
-megroot- Thanks a lot :)
-Ray- I think, he looks a litte bit like me, after a hard working day ;-)
-ManfredL- Thank you. I made some pictures of one of my sons, to find the right position for the folds and wrinkles. The rest was simple ;-)
-Uruk-Hai- Thank you. For the future I try to sculp an roman legionar, standing behind him.
-tonydawe- Yes, you are right. But perhaps with an pilum and not with a sword.
-gorgosaurus- I hope too ;-)
-ookami- Thank you.
-davidmitchell- Yes, I will do.
-Ferris- Thank you.
-ubbi- I hope, I can sell him before christmas this year. I must make now the moulds and the casting in the next weeks.
Greetings,
Martin

Wouldnt it be a nice variation to do another Germanic as captor? We see a lot of Germans vs Romans while the Germans where fighting among themselves also.

You seem to be very productive.

Cheers

pmfs- Thank you :)
Uruk-Hai- a second german? Why not? Its a god idea. I must think about it. :)
tomapaul- Thank you!
Sergey Savenkov- Than you, too :)
Best wishes,
Martin
