Get out of my cupboard and off my bench!!!

Hi Guys
I have had this darn model half finished/painted in my cupboard for close to ten years. I was about to throw it in the bin as I wasn't happy with it. Then I thought well I haven't done many whitewashes or mud effects so I thought this would be a good test case. The vid is what it looks like now before I get started.
