Here's Greg DiFranco's superb auction figure, a 75mm Roman Aquilifer Legion XI. Painted without metallics ("Faux Metalica") the figure has a directional light source emanating from the figure's upper right - quite a unique effect from Greg.

mine compliments for the Author, truly a magnificent piece! Is a modification of a subject in kit or is scratchbuilt from Preiser or other?

This was my personal favorite at MFCA this year. The spectacular shading and highlighting do not come across fully in a photo, even a high quality one like this.

I'm not a collector, but this is one piece I would have a tough time not bidding on.
