The kit comes in a sturdy cardboard box with a color photograph of the painted figure as a sleeve around the box to keep it closed. The parts are sealed in a zip lock bag to ensure against loss in transit.

A complete color guide is also furnished with this kit.

Conclusion:
An excellent kit of Erwin Rommel. Although I found this kit heavy with release agent from casting I found it to be an excellent figure with minimal sanding / filing of seams before painting. Highly recommended.

Cheers Guy for posting this review.

I've always been a huge fan of Ulrich's sculpting, always so much more realistic than the many highly finished but wooden tree trunk figures you often see. He's been a huge influence on my own sculpting goals.

My one small niggle is that the cap cords are way oversize and should be replaced with fine twisted wire, or even just thick cotton... compare with this photo of Rommel in Normandy..

Nonetheless as always a true master at work, I cannot wait to see what he'll show us next!

Cheers,
Jon.
