Very impressive detailing. Bonaparte of course was no admiral however talented a general he was!

Hi Gregory

That’s a good size to get the details right when painted

It’s looking really good now , do like the way you’ve painted the fleshwork

Look forward to seeing more on this

If possible share how you paint the lacework gold

Have fun @ the bench

Very nice, thanks for the scale comparison, I do 54mm so rarely appreciate how large these busts are.

Cheers Simon

Looks good, last time I did NMM in oils it was on a flat, you've done a good job and he's coming nicely to life. Your oil tubes look like mine, we never use enough of the paint to keep a clean tube for long.

Cheers Simon

Might want to revisit the gold lace on the rear pockets and the cuffs as there is a little overpaint evident, but that's just nit picking and something I'm often guilty of. Apart from that it looks damned good, infact even better than that.

Cheers Simon

Hi Gregory

Great to see the pictures ....is he finished or have you still details to paint ?

I like the facial work on him and the detail work on the gold lacework and the sword

Might I just ask ...is the sword been reduced in size.....or just like it is to level with the coat edge ?

Look forward to seeing more from this and more from future projects

Happy benchtime
