Hello Sergy:

I really like this figure, and the painting of it looks so natural.
And speaking of natural looking. . . . the ground cover is very
good, all the elements on the terra firma fit so well together
and are in complete colour harmony with the colour choices
in soft pastel shades of the figure. Also the photos are lovely.
Well lighted yet without blowing out the soft colours; so that
each photo shows off all the detail in a good light. You know,
I feel a lot of modelers think shooting photos of figures/models
is very easy. But that is not true. Requires experience and very
good lenses for the camera. . . At least that is MHO. . . ;)

What I like about your style is even although you are using turquoise, purple and red in your palette, they have realistic, earthy tone to them.(y) Are you using filters or are you mixing certain colours into your base colour to achieve this?

At the initial stage of painting I use different mixing with the base tone. Then, when I picturing а weathering I use oil filters and local image scuffs by acrylic.
