Gordon Highlanders tartan during the WWI

Hello!

I have in my hands the following JMD figure, a Gordon Highlanders soldier:


I've started doing a little research about the figure's uniform, glengarry, accessories and tartan.
Could anoyne help me with the correct colours in the Gordon Highlanders soldiers tartans during the WWI?
Any info is welcome!

I use dark Prussian blue, with a touch of black as the base. For the Green. USA uniform, with a touch of the base. For the the thin lines, black. With a touch of the base again to the black, to unify the colour, and to remove the starkness. For the yellow, I use Golden Yellow. Highlighting it with a touch of white, where the two lines meet.
