Hi guys,
just some pics of a recent project, again, a bit of a diversion in scale. This is Perry Miniatures' depiction of G W Joy's famous painting of Gordon's Last Stand, at Khartoum, 1885.
28mm scale, figures and balustrade in white metal, with resin steps/archway.
There has been some remodelling the stairs, as they were a bit too narrow to accurately pose the figures and a slight repositioning of the dervishes, to be more faithful to the painting. Painted in enamels.

Love 28mm scale - great of vignettes adn dios and IMO very much underrated as a scale. Great job on Gordon.

Thanks for posting the link - yes, their stuff is top notch, with some fantastic British Colonial subjects, a pleasure to paint!
