Greek Evzone, Asia Minor 1920's

Hi guys,

Pretty much done on this one. Apologies for the pics, the shading looks a bit washed out due to the sun!!
120mm, converted (hugely!) from the Miniart Dutch Grenadier. New head by me and all sculpting work done in Miliput/Duro. Rank stripes from plastic strip, as is the seams on the shoes, waterbottle modified Tamiya, rifle by Steve Readdie, with Duro sling added.

Excellent finish Steve. I really like it.

The shoes are called Tsarouchia, τσαρούχια and the Pom poms Founda, φούντα, I think that's the plural, singular is slightly different.

I've spent a good part of today trying to memorize the difference between, his, hers, this, them and that in Greek so that was a bit of light relief for me and my dictionary.
