Very good this figure, an achaean warrior of XII cent. before Ch. Spectacular reconstruction of cuirass, greaves and shoes; practice to take shields on shoulder strap was diffuse - obviously non in fight! – Two famous sources, “Warrior’s vase” and a relief now in Athens, National Archaeologic Museum, show many marching warriors with shields in that position; on vascular picture the shields have “half-moon” shape but on relief shields seem circular models (however both are in use); athenian inside shields are pale blue!
About sword, at last, we found in Mycene many exemplaries with long and narrow blades, but are in use also shorted swords with larger blades (Osprey Elite 130 – “The Mycenaeans c.1650 -1100 BC”, photo page 16); a model of this short and large sword is represented also on fresco from Pylos, in a fight between mycenaeans warriors and strange men in furs (maybe the “shaggy people of the wilds” in the Iliad?): see photo page 28.
Very good fringed tunic.
Maybe, underlined maybe, the greaves not painted in blue pale but soiled white (compressed felt?).
In conclusion a very very good piece, with my compliments to Tartar and Sergey
