Historical Note:
The 1st Royal Regiment is the oldest Regiment of Foot in the British Army. Often times referred to as "Pontius Pilate's Body Guard" From 1757 to 1763 the Royal Regiment fought in North America during the French & Indian War. In 1757 the 2nd battalion of the 1st Foot saw action during the capture of Louisburg in 1758 and the French surrender of Montreal in 1760.

This bust comes in a sturdy cardboard box with the large pieces in a sealed bag and the smaller parts in a smaller bag. It comes with a painting guide and historical note.

I cleaned off the casting plug from the bottom of the head to be able to show the fitment of the head into the neck / chest part. Excellent fit with no filling needed.

Above is a close-up of the hat showing the amount of detail Piotr has sculpted in relief on the hat.

Conclusion:
An excellent bust with minimal clean-up required. All parts dry-fitted well. Highly recommended.

Special Note:
Piotr had sent me the bust and before it had even arrived I got a private message through the planet that he was not really happy with the casting he had sent me and was sending another to replace the 1st one. I received the 1st casting and a week later received the newer one. In my 35 years of figures I have never had a manufacture this conscientious about his products. My hat is off to Piotr and Siskin Miniatures.
