This is my lates paint job and this is a classic: the French Imperial Grenadier by Young Miniatures (http://www.young-miniatures.com/products/YH1847/YH1847-1.html).
Overall I am happy of the final result and I enjoyed a lot painting this bust. This time I tried also a new brand for the golden parts: the Maimeri Acrylic Light Gold (https://www.maimeri.it/en/products/acrylic/maimeri-acrilico/light-gold-0916137.html). I used this colour for both the golden plate on the “bearskin” (the typical tall fur cap of the grenadiers), the buttons and the epaulettes and in my view this looks very realistic, so I am planning to use it again in the future. I really suggest it also as an alternative to the Vallejo Metal Colour Gold which is a bit too light a shiny for some types of gold.
I hope you like it!
