Groundwork

I am in the process of building the groundwork for my latest figure. Imagine a Japanese garden. I am trying to create water flowing out of a bamboo shaft into a stone fountain. Any suggestions in how to create the stream of the falling water AND the resulting ripples? The fall to the water surface will be between 1/4" to 1/3". I plan to use Environtex Lite (2 part polymer resin).

Try a small piece of clear fibre optic cable coated in white pva - that should look realistic

Cheers, Stephen. Others have suggested similar methods. Maybe fine fishing line?

transparent stretched sprue, or stripes of clear trnsparent plastic curved as desired and covered with 2 part epoxy resin, used it many many times
