The only thing I don't like about the Iron Brigade figure (and it's very much down to personal taste) is the face. Like a lot of H&V figures' faces, I find it a little bit strange and doll-like. But if the head is cast as a separate piece and I can source a substitute more to my liking, I would definitely buy this because the rest of the figure is outstanding.

The little leprechaun chappie is very nicely done but isn't something I'd buy. Sure to be popular though.

I must say I agree with you regarding the face... probably will also look for a better one!
Oh, and the second figure isn't a leprechaun, it's a Hobbit! The face isn't similar to Martin Freeman probably because of the rights and all that... but besides that is all like in the movie.

I really like the hobbit figure but I still wonder about the actual size of the figure. Is it actually 54 mm tall or is it 54 mm scale which would end up less than half of that? I am tempted to buy this kit but really want to know the actual size.

Both figures are beautifully done but I think you will still have to change the bugle-horn badge on the hat of the Iron Brigade figure. It should be pointing the other way, shouldn't it?
