Hi all,
Included I would like to show you a figure with a lot of firsts for me : my first fantasy figure, my first 28mm and my first with non metallic metallics (still strugling big time with this). After about 4 years with no painting I thought it would be easier and faster to do a small figure. No way, with so much detail sculpted in you have to paint the same things as in bigger scale only smaller. The figure is in resin by Scibor who makes some of the best 28mm figures if you ask me; and they have some really nice 54mm's too! As ever, it was painted using acryllics and inks with some pigments for the weathering. The background piece is also by Scibor, I just added some pumpkins using Brown Stuff to stay with the theme of Hallowicked. The feast of halloween as juggalo's and juggalettes expaience it. Groundwork again the magic sculp/pigments mix, with Deluxe Products for the small pebbles of water. I wanted to have a name plate that is more connected to the world of the miniature to break the "4th dimension" so I made one myself. Magic Sculp was rolled out thinly and put in place. Once dry I removes so I could paint it easily.
Still bad pictures but I do hope you can give me your thoughts on this. I had so much fun with this little fella that I think I will be doing much more fantasy in the future, with an historical thrown in from time to time. I still have too much excellent Alpine figures crying out to me to be painted!
Thanks for looking,
Gino
