I'd say push the highlights and the shading more on the uniforms. Also smoother transitions needed between the skin of the faces and the hairlines & beards, as it is it all looks a bit sudden and stark.

That said, the "basics" are all there in place and the ammo box idea is nicely original. Thanks for the share.
