Great site Steve but yeah 58 pattern gives me nightmares! Invented to shrink as soon as you take it off!

I was telling Steve Readdie at Telford when I joined in 78 we were issued the old 38 pattern as sprogs!

Nice find mate, I loved my 58` Pattern webbing, was very dissapointing handing it over for some PLCE kit which I never liked.

Thanks for sharing mate, exactly what I needed for current project. We mostly wore US ALICE equipment but did mix & match a bit when in Aussie with Brit 37 Patt for parade wear.

Carl B put me on to this site for WW1 webbing, I even got the WD how to use instruction book for the '08 webbing. Great site.
