Seil Miniatures has brought us a beautiful 75mm Knight at Tournament with all the heraldry sculpted into the tapestry. A 37 part figure kit comes sandwiched between layers of foam in Seil's traditional heavy black box.

Above left is the first layer of parts with all small parts sealed in a compartmentalized clear plastic. On the right is the second layer of parts which is the horse Heraldry which is sculpted in relief.

The basic parts of the knight are seen above. Legs, chest and helmet and 2 arms with one hand attached to the respective arm.

Above is the front and back of the leg section with minimal seam lines to clean.

The Horse

Above left you see the horse's tail, the shield and the horse's head. Above right you see the waist body armor and three sections of the saddle. The bottom photo shows a closer view of the quilted saddle blanket.

Above left you see the reins to the horse and on the right is the jousting pole and the etched brass plaque for the front of the finished base.

Conclusion:

A beautiful kit with all dry-fitting snug. Minimal seam lines and flash to remove. Excellent engineering of this figure. Highly recommended.

i thought the lance looked too short myself but not being into this kind of thing i thought it was just me thinking it.

guess its an easy enough thing to extend
