Thanks for the well wishes guys! It's nice to hear, especially right now. Rather than re-type what I just sent out in an e mail, I'll just copy and paste it here (for the most part):
Ok, I know most of you haven't heard anything from me in quite awhile and some in a few weeks. Most have probably been wondering where I went and some probably don't care. LOL! I hope that's not true anyway. Well, here I sit in Atlanta waiting for my flight to Korea. This was a heart wrenching, tear filled morning for the Patrick family. My youngest son (Zack) just can't seem to come to grips with Daddy being in the Army and leaving all the time. Honestly, I'm tired of coming to grips with it and I don't blame my son for his resentment. You'd think after 17 years you'd be used to this by now but I guess with some things you just never get used to, like breaking the hearts of those who mean the most to you. It's just how I feel right now I know and this will pass just like it does every time, it's just hell getting through it and it doesn't get easier with practice. You can reach me at this e mail ([email protected]) or the bellsouth one if you have that. Once in Korea and settled, I'll send out a mass e mail to most everyone in my in box with my new address once I have it. Remember, I'm going to the land of the cheap kits and thanks to a friendly reminder from JC, one certain resin company will be receiving a visit from me before too long! In any case, I just wrote to say I'm almost there and I'll be responding to my e mails soon. I was just a little pre-occupied with the family the last few weeks to get on the internet.
