Hi everyone, I'm Andy Glessner and I'm new to this Forum. I'm retired US Army and live in Germany. I've been building models since I was about 10 years, with some longer breaks in between, due to different reasons. But I've been active again for the last 10 years. I used to build mainly WW2 armor, but have lately been focusing more on Fantasy Figures. So I'm hoping to get some good and valuable feedback and critique from you guys.

From the group, it looks like I have met some of you before in my Army Career, Jim Patrick being one of them.

Cheers
Andy Glessner

Hello Andy and welcome. . .

Hi Andy:

Welcome to Planetfigure Andy. I hope you find this site everything you are
looking for. We have a large group of Planeteers from all over the Planet, who
post their work regularly. Some are figure modelers of Historical subjects
and some are into Fantasy and Sci-Fi figures. I'm one of the 70 yrs. of age
and older members and I like to work in both genrés.

We would like to see you post some of your work. And don't hesitate to ask
questions or tell us about your modeling techniques. Even thou I'm way up
in my senior years, I realize I can learn something new all the time. . .

Again, welcome. And as a US Army veteran who served during peacetime,
I want to thank you for your years of service in our Armed Forces, Andy.
I don't take that for granted. Bless you, young man,

Rick Brownlee

Thanks everyone, I'm sure that I will get a lot of good input from all of you and hope to learn a lot.

As soon as I get some time and figure out how to upload some pics, I'll do that.

However, if any of you would like to take a look at my website you're welcome to

cheers from Germany

Re: Hello again, Andy. . .

Whoa, Nellie:

Wow, Andy. . . I just went to your web site. You have a great deal of energy
and a lot of very good ideas. You'll fit in right here with no problem.

You work is fine and shows a lot of imagination.

In a spirit of a person confession, Andy. . . I am a 'pooter illiterate. Yes, I
can do pretty art work in Adobe Illustrator, but I need an 8 year old kid to
hook everything up for me, and install new software, if you get the picture.

I even was able to finger out out to post pictures here on PF. And Gordy has
made it very easy. You will not have any trouble, mate. I promise you,

Rickmeister
