Very nice figures

But why 'English Civil War'? There was no English Civil War in 1678 but the style of costume is appropriate for the year. Furthermore, this seems to be a continental (Dutch, Swedish, Brandenburg?) cavalry trooper rather than an English officer. I like Restauration Period figurines though, a period seldom covered. This is a very versatile figurine btw, could be put to many uses.

It's a nice figure. You could convert it also as a robber or something. But English civil war?? Well not in 1678

Indeed, you are both correct! I don't know what I was thinking when making the label. This will be corrected asap.

He is a trooper of the 'Oxford Blues', who in 1678 were issued the plate armor and carbines.
