I have bought a figure from Imperial Gallery ,
without being morbid , I would like to add to it , not the figure but the diorama ,
Argentine helmet , FAL 50.61 maybe , I have some 7.62 cases to scatter
any other ideas ,
this is going to my charity , and they have all seen the blood and sweat of combat , so don't hold back on suggestions
thank you
john

Hi John,
I was looking at these at Lunchtime knowing of your request.

Verlinden weapon set 460 contained a covered US helmet
with cover, the 66launcher would be good and some of the other bits.
Akthough out of production, it may be available still
from www.historexagents.co.uk

Any 120mm US helmet could be 'disguised' by adding a cloth cover and tyre band..or some crepe bandage stretched over twisted tight and clipped together underneath.
If you then pva it into place...when dry, snip of the excess under the brim and paint it.
The Argentinian helmet did have a pronounced 'peak' at
the front for those who haven't seen one...
