Help needed ref painting khaki 1880-99

[Viking Bob]

I am about to start to paint some British Army khaki for the period 1880-99. one Boer war and the other on the NW Frontier. I use acrylic, Vallejo at the moment. I am after a base colour, the highlights and shade colours
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For NWF khaki, I use Vallejo Beige as a basecoat, highlights mixed with Ivory, shadows in German Camo Brown, or Burnt Umber. For Boer War, go for a slightly more ochre shade...
