Im planning of doing a vignette using Shenandoahs "Union Forever". But not knowing as much about the ACW as I would like to, I could use some tips about what unit to depict, and their colours carried without having to alternate the figures uniform to much. If this set of figures could be depicted as the Irish Brigade charging over a bridge it would be great (cause thats what I have in mind) but I havent come up with any source or any other inspiration by searching the net. Perhaps some of you figureteers could set me on a straight course? Other ideas are also of interest.

Heres the vingette Im referring to:

Janne, You could depict a number of Union regiments from the war as the Shenandoah figures are more of a "generic" representation. I do not believe there was an action where the Irish Brigade made a charge over a bridge. Theonly attack that was launched accross a bridge that I'm away of was the one at Antietam on the now famous "Burnside bridge". If you're open to doing a Pennsylvania unit I have access to flag information on units from there.~Gary
