Help needed with translation

Hello,
I need to make a setting for a samurai figure, and I would like to know what means the text engraved on the columns.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

The character on the left means to pay, deliver or supply and the one on the right means to serve or dedicate. As characters they are pronounced Noh and Hoh respectively.
