Help Painting the WW2 german Dot Pea Pattern

Has anyone got any tips or links to usable tutorials for painting the WW" German Dot Pea Pattern, that would help a beginner to figure painting.

This is my attempt at the Dot Pea Camo patten.

Yes I know my figure modelling is not yet upto an acceptable standard, but it is still only my third figure so I am learning all the time and maybe one day i will get the hang of it.

Paint as usual for me is a mix of Humbrol Enamels and Vallejo Acrylics.
