Has any one got photo's of the butt plate or detailed drawing's of the Imperial Guard infantry musket, that was used 1810-15.
I know it is made of brass but I want to know how many screws hold the butt plate to the stock.
Than you.

Hi Bob,

Thanks Mick, it does help, at least I know there is a screw on the top of the plate.
I don't know if there are any screws on the back of the plate. Just found this webpage on repro muskets and the spare parts that they sell. It looks the same as the drawing apart from the missing screw.
