After looking at it closely, I am pretty sure the rifle is British, I'm not certain, but it looks like a figure that might have fought in N Africa along with the British WW2 era.

It is sold as an Italian Ascaro in Somaliland (1939) but who is the maker of the figure ?

The seller has given me further information. According to him, this figure is the same as the one which was painted by Lucio Di Biasio in Italy a few years ago. This model received two awards in European shows. But no information about the maker or the brand is given. So if someone could give me further details, he is still welcomed.
