Can anyone point me in the direction of the manufacturer of this bust?
Cheers

Hi Del,
I bought this guy and he was riddled with pin holes, flashing, dents and dints. So if you can look at the piece before you buy it I'd check it out first.
Pegaso, however very kindly sent me a Spartan Warrior as a replacement because I'd already filled and sorted the gladiator when I complained. The Spartan guy was perfect.

I have a good bronze mix if you want to try it on the helmet.

Cheers for this Grant. I've been looking for a Gladiator bust for a wee while and completely forgot to get one when I was at Euro (drink on this occasion not age).
I prefer this one to any of the others I've seen. The trick now is to figure out a payment method that keeps in below the Missus's radar.
Always interested in metal mixes (y) I use a lot of Sap Green in my Bronze mix, a bit old school I know but I'm hooked on it and use it where I can, shading Reds and it's in all my dark leathers.
Fine job on your version BTW bronze does indeed look impressive.
Cheers

Hi Del,yes this is a pegaso piece from their 200mm range,I'm not 100% certain but I thought Ron did this,I can't be sure but as someone has already said this piece does have faults with it,best be careful on this one mate,Young Miniatures did one a few years ago,it has a choice of 2 heads as well and it's a very good sculpt

Hi Brian, I'd a good look at the Youngs one. Beautifully cast but I felt that the abs were a bit too overdone.
I particularly liked the details on this one and the wider 'brim' gave in more of a balance IMHO. hink I'll hang back 'til I see it or get a bit of a bargain from somebody clearing out grey army.

Always gets a laugh from me. 'I'm as regular as clockwork, pee at 7am, crap at 8am and then I get up at 9am'
The problem is this might just be round the corner

Hi Del, it's the early young gladiator bust mate I was referring to,I didn't think much to their latest one
