Help with flags

Hi All, Ok the help I need is this......How do yall make and paint flags. I use acrylics and mainly paint 54mm & 75mm figures. Now I've tried the A/B epoxy and it came out ok. I not that great with freehand. I've talked to some people and they use printed flags on paper then just paint over it, then use thinned white glue in the folds it make it wavy. Others use drafting linen, they wash some of the starch out then put it in a embroidery hoop. they then trace the flag then paint it, cut it out, lightly wet it, place it on items to make the waves, then do the highlights and shadows.

Can yall tell me how yall do flags. And can anyone tell me where to get drafting linen,,,please. I'm in the US.

Same alternative, they are the tried and tested methods, simple as that really.
