Good evening all.
I am hoping someone in the group, perhaps even the person who painted this bust can help.
I would like to achieve this same metallic look and after various efforts have failed to figure out
what the combination of colours/technique is.
Please have a look at the photos... downloaded from FP by the way... and let me know your thoughts.
Any advice would be great.
Keep painting and enjoy this amazing hobby.
Cheers
Jonathan

If I was to attempt this I would use a base of yellowish gold.
It then looks like a sponge has been used.
Take a small amount of sponge and tap it into a brownish colour(it looks like a few different shades ) and then tap the sponge onto a piece of paper until most of it is removed and the tap the sponge onto the model this can take a while.
It then seems to me the base coat has been used to highlight(with the sponge again).
Hope this is of some help.
Ralph.
