help with stockings

Hello Brothers in Arms,

Iám painting my third 54mm and it is almost finished.
I have major problems with the stockings. I cannot get them done. I've painted white, yellow, buff etc.
Everytime i am not satisfied.
They must be white, but i can not get them wright.

Help someone please.

Not knowing what type of colour you use I give you the suggestion of mixing 70% white with 27% flesh and 3% black.

Humbrol 28 Camoflage Grey is a good base. I think Vallejo has a colour called off-white.

Good suggestion, Janne. I have used the Vallejo off white for base color. It is very useful but used alone the coverage is poor. I'll try your mix, myself.

Thanx Janne. Ive done it, and it is OK. Instead off using white i tried Vallejo of withe with your mix, and it turned out well.
