Guys , I need some help with this one. A recent commision that came in demands the sculpting of a 1/35 US ranger - D-Day 1944. Now if there's anything I know nothing about are WW 2 subjects.Anybody can direct me in the right way , maybe by means of websites or anything else ?
Thanks a lot

Stephen Mallia

Stephen,

An excellent book on D-day subjects called "Spearheading D-Day" by Histoire & Collections is available . I have another book called "D-Day, Operation Overlord" by Salamander that's very good as well. I don't have the first one mentioned, but I've seen copies. Both books have many pictures of actual equipment. The Windrow and Hawkins book "The WWII GI in Color Photographs" has several reenactors in period gear.

Hope this helps. I look forward top seeing a WWII subject from you.

Hey Alex, That's an excellent site. All the stuff you probably need right there Stephen.

thanks guys for the generous reply. I'll dig deep into the sites you indicated and put my lousy head to work!!!
