Thought I'd share this with you guys (and gals)
When I came back into the hobby 4 years ago, I bought every nifty gadget out there, most stay in the cupboard as being totally useless.
One of these gadgets was the helping hands clamp thingy, utter waste of time.
However, after struggling to paint Grace of Monaco without getting dirty paw prints everywhere, I modified it a bit.
I made a sort of UJ to hold the piece, then drilled a hole in the top and used the remaining parts to make a hand rest.
Seems to work well.
