Guys,

This is my airfix 1/12 (6 inches tall) Queen Elizebeth the First. After painting so many rugged male soldiers figures. I just have to try a female figure for a change.... Queen Elizebath the First need no introduction as her fame with the help of Sir Francis Drake, wage war against the mighty Spanish armada and came out victorious.

I have this kit, and I would be pleased to think I could come anywhere near this result. I think Airfix's figures have something of a bad rap, but this proves if the modeller is careful, they can create something great.

I'd like to see a closeup of the front of the dress, just to get a better idea of the detail.

Do you also have Henry VIII?
