Hi to everybody on the “Planet”. I’m painting historical miniatures for a couple of years, but I’m feeling that my skills are not improving. Kind of spinning wheels, right now. I’m considering myself an eternal beginner and I need your help to break this lock. Hopefully, in such a great and talented company I will be able to do better. I watched and marvelled some amazing painting and I’m convinced that I’m in the right place. Your advice and guidance will be always appreciated.
Thanks,
Zeno:)

Hi Zeno
I've only been painting for 2 months and these guys have helped my skills increase tremendously. If you've been at it for 2 years you're way ahead, and you'll progress leaps and bounds with the support here. I live in the Kawarha Lakes region and there are no modellers around. Welcome and good luck,
Mary

Welcome Zeno,

At the rate Canucks are joining lately, we'll have a full regiment soon!
If you're looking to improve, you've come to the right place. Everyone here is very helpful and supportive, if you take the comments and critiques as constructive then you can learn alot.
BTW, what era of historicals are you into? Myself, I'm mainly Napoleonics but I like anything "Horse and Musket" (17oo's and 18oo's) and always like to see other people's interpretations.

Hope to see your work soon

Colin

Thanks for the worm welcome, Colin.
As you will see soon, I worked different historicals like ancients and middle ages knights. Not to many. I'm not a prolific painter and my skills are limited. I love Napoleonics too, but I have issues with textures (making uniform look like silk:eek:... etc). So, a lot of work to do on my side of the house.
Need to get organized and I'll show my work.

Hello Zeno,
Good to see you here.

Thanks! Me too.
