Just joined here to see how well I do with figure painting. Have done some military model building and painting in 1/48 although my main interest has always been civil vehicles in 1/24.

It's time to start learning figure painting

Hope to show you some work soon but first I will be reading, reading and reading all the info to get started and all the tips/advice from the experts.

Hey Alex. Welcome. Do you have any decent model shops over in Tenerife or is it all mail order?

We might holiday there this year so I'd like to know if there is a shop worth visiting. Cannot stay away from the hobby for too long!

Thanks for your welcome.
In Tenerife as far as I know there are only a couple hobby shops worth mentioning, one of them (Dunai Hobby) doesn't carry figures at all and the other one (Teide Hobby) I still have to find out because I'm interested myself.
In any case I'm sorry to say that the hobby shops here are rather expensive even though we have a special reduced tax and that most of the purchases I make are to online shops and even eBay.
