I am a complete FNG when it comes to painting figures. I have been building aircraft for awhile now and I have seen some of the work here and I am very impressed at the work shown here. Everyone seems to be very helpful and knowledgeable which is a good thing since I will be asking plenty of questions and asking for constructive feedback on any WIP I post.

Coming to figures from aircraft modeling? Did you build a lot of Monogram kits and get the bug to do figures, from the great pilots and crew figures they had?

Do you ever get to any of the shows around our area, like MFCA in Valley Forge, or Historicon in Lancaster, or in Gettysburg?

theBaron: I have not been to a show yet in PA. I have been to a show last year in Baltimore,MD. Just joined a model club in Harrisburg.
The reason for the move into doing some figures is, I am a huge student of the Civil War and I have found numerous figures that interest me. I still work on a/c just trying something different.
