WIP Critique High Elves on ship diorama for "Armies on Parade" contest 25 october ! scrath building and painting

Hello guys,

I get to work on the diorama of the high elves. The whole idea of ​​this ship and its crew on the high seas.

Diorama will be created on the basis of the dimensions of 61x61x15 [cm].

and my latest Armies on Parade 2013 from GW Warsaw in Poland which won gold as well as my entry in 2012. So ialready have 2 golden medals from Poland.

this boat is fantastic challenge for me. Lot of work with putty and sand paper.

i started to fill the body of my ship using wooden planks (made in resin if you like them fell free to buy some on http://www.artrenova.com [email protected])

Hi Fanai thanks for good words. As putty filling the hull i used cheapest car putty which i found in my local store.

Finnaly i made a stand for my entry, fill it with styrofoam and i chose the position of the vessel.

now its time for make stand and paint it !

I have one problem with plate that i would add on front of stand.

im thinking about two different options. Ill post them on straw pool. -> HERE

Ok and so we are already after the competition. After a few sleepless nights, I managed to get some sleep and rest. Despite the competition at the highest level, managed to win first place and again (this is the third) gold medal. Feel free to view pictures from that day
