saw this inprog on the CH. turned out nice. thought it was going to be a Full Figure which is a surprise. was the a way to lay Bats down and have the fist next to his face? might work better with audiences. just a thought Calvin.

Well, so the Hiketeia ritual was basically about granting a total protection to the requester, someone who places himself under the protection of another person. As someone said "It was holy ground where you were protected by the gods. That's what the word hiketeia means - protection by the gods".
