You can find some of these "OLDIES" on e-bay every now & then!! Just saw a box {box only} listed - 3.50 US but, free shipping!! Dave

I remember when these first hit the market. They are quite comical in proportion these days, but raised the bar in terms of detail and casting quality back then.

Well said, Mike. Back then I remember just staring at these figures with wide eyed admiration, but now it's clear the proportions are a little doll like compared to today's figures but I still love them.

BTW -If anyone has this figure and would like to sell it to me...for £2.25, only kidding,...at current price I need one to complete the set.
Send me a PM if you do have one you'd like to sell...cheers.

Oh heavans ,

Help me please ..is that really what they cost then ...a months pocket money ...always liked the drummer

Hinchcliffe ...a real eyeopener at the time and leader in the market ..I well remember getting loads of the wargame figures ...and even painting using enamels and....

shock stunned ..........not a bust in sight for me...

little did I know what was coming !!!

Thanks for sharing ...off to look through the complete Tradition set I have !!

Nap ...dripping in Nostalgia

I could barely afford military modelling mag at the time, my basic wage was ten pound basic and three pound bonus, before tax. so all I could do was look at the adverts. but I remember the thrill of the introduction into military modelling/badger
