Yes, the shield was made on the basis of an antique figurine and antique mosaics/frescoes. We also consulted with reenactors of that era. We try to make the most historically accurate miniatures possible.

Just seen your gladiators figures range on the link provided (thank you) and you have some tremendous figures for sale, however, post /shipping charges to the UK are high at $16.50 for a small 54 mm resin figure and of course with import VAT and UK 'handling fees' added on top, it makes them very expensive indeed at $43.50 (£34.64 today's rate and before additional import duties and associated fees) for just 1 figure.

Doing some quick calculations at today's rate, if the kit is then stopped and charged for UK 20% VAT and the £8.00 handling charge applied, it will then cost a UK buyer £41.01p ($51.51 / Euro 47.72) for one single resin 54mm figure.

Hopefully you will get a UK importer for the range to make them more accessible for us in the UK..?

Good luck with the range however as the figures themselves are truly excellent and as good as anything else available for the genre.

I looked at sending by regular mail and it turns out cheaper. From 13.50 (regular) to 16.50 (expedited) per 1 kg. The figures are lightweight and you can fit as many as 4 figures in one parcel and the package will still cost £13.50.

I spoke to our accountant and found out that for clients living outside the EU we can provide a 20% discount.
