This fine beginning for horse Andy new model!
It is breed for a "heavy" horse?
Also check up a line of a back - probably a failure of a back;-)
It is very good a proportion!
It is poorly visible the bent leg{foot} - show closer.
Thanks, is the interesting project.
Yours faithfully, if you not against, I shall spy also for your process?:)

Re Sergey

Since your comment,I have trimmed the raised foot a bit and now its proportion is much the same as its opposite. This is my first horse so go easy on me :).

Yours faithfully, I do not say goodbye.....

Probably here you will find for yourself some auxiliary tables - I use these tables for the work:

Hi Andy.Great to see the horse you are sculpting.I like what you have done and look forward to see what he comes out like. You have had some good constructive criticism which is always very helpful. Some times we can be blind to our own mistakes.I have always adopted this way of thinking with my own work.
Kind regards John:):):)

Andy your horse is coming along very nicely, wish I could sculpt as good you.Looking forward to your next step.
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Cheers
Roc

You're right Andy,It is time that I put myself sculpting too with all that is going on and that I discover every day on the forum:)
regards,
georges

PS: I have lots, lots projects in the depths of my head but I find it difficult to make the leap.:(

Re George

For me ,its the beginnig of a sculpt that is difficult because you have so many preconceptions of the finished project.Once you are past that and just start modelling those hinderences soon go away I find.
I find that going through basic steps one at a time will get you nearer the goal.Ideas like finish one area before moving to the next is something I need to work on for instance.
I will look forward to any future work you may post.

This fine continuation Andy! Continue.
Show close a photo a horse (side view), probably we shall see better.;)
Also pay attention to eyes - very often mistake of an eye - they narrow and long as at the person. Eyes of a horse almost round.
Also interest to look at the left party{side} of a horse is equal.
Yours faithfully Andy.
