Hot & Cold

While many Planeteers in the Northern Hemisphere have been shivering through an extraordinary period of extreme cold weather, spare a thought for those of us down here in the Southrrn Hemisphere.

Today in Perth it's 43 degrees celcius (that's 112f) and it promises to be the same tomorrow. Extreme heat like this makes it incredibly hard to do anything, let alone painting.

Yep its pretty hot here!!!!!!! I finally get some free days to do some painting and my acrylics dry before I can get them from the bottle to the kit. Great for drying oils faster though!!!!!!!!

Actually it has been quite warm here. Got some snow yesterday and we have about -3 degres, but aside from five days in early December, there have been no snow and about 3-5 degres, plus. Warmest winter I ever had. Coldest winter was in 85-86 when I did my military service. I did it in northern part of Sweden with some areas inside the artic circle and we had -46 degres.
