Hello,

Several months ago I had built the Hougoumont gate for my friend Ben.
It was a great pleasure to do and he has it well done.

I have built a second one on a small base and add three figures to the vignette.
I hope you like my effort.

I suppose more figures would convey the drama more but as it stands, it looks very good. Love the work you have done on the gate and the figures are really well posed. I like it a lot (y)

Mobo, I like what you have done here, I hear what others say but it is a big undertaking to paint so many 120mm scale figures.
Very nice painting and the gate is wonderful.

Beautifully done, build and paint. I agree with Carl it really would benefit from the addition of more figures tocreate the sense of desperation and urgency.
Its such famed event that everyone has a strong image in their minds eye.
Cheers
Derek

Exquisite work! Rather than add more figures, keep it with just those three beautiful creations that are the focal point. To emphasize them more, you might consider reducing the gate structure to just the wooden gates, with just a suggestion of the brick pilasters and reducing the size of the base. Sort of like a "close-up" view. Regardless wonderful as always.
