How do you do fabric designs

Hi All,

I'm coming close to finishing a 120mm Samurai and wish to put a dragonfly design on the kimono. Any suggestions?????????

If you pencil it on first, is there a particular type of pencil that works best?

Printers ink?? Archetectural pen? Help please!!!
