I've been asked a couple times in the past week or so "how many wives will be coming to Gettysburg?" (to the show) So now I'm asking you. How many wives, girlfriends, daughters, or others of the fairer sex will be at the show?

Jennie Wade. Killed by a stray bullet during the battle while baking bread for the soldiers. The only civilain casualty during the battle. See her story

Mike - are you trying to encourage wives & girlfriends or put them off?

Stephen - when I stayed in Gettysburg earlier this year, we were in the hotel next to the house where this happened. Luckily there were no bullets still flying about then.

There will be bullets flying if I try to leave her behind!

That weekend is her birthday and our 33rd anniversary and she has graciously agreed to let me play and afterwards we will visit her side of the family in east PA.

She is often amazingly quite the understanding lady!!

Chocalate chip.

Wasn't Wesley Culp from the 2 nd VA that died on the farm he was born on at Gettysburg? Great story there.

Pardon my spelling. Previous posts should read cookies and chocolate. Back to grammar school for me. :))))
