How pathetic is this crap?

31 years of arguably the most famous Military Modelling show in the world!

The 2016 Euro Militaire will be the last.

Euro2016%20(259).jpg
Founded and organised since 1985 by a local group of modelling experts and enthusiasts in the Folkestone region and sponsored for the last ten years by My Time Media, the show is no longer sustainable for a variety of reasons not least the critical decrease in the numbers of the original local organising team and its volunteers, but also a downward trend in both the numbers of visitors to the show and competition entries in recent years.
Thank You to everyone involved over the years.
Thank you my arse!!!

Shame they're blaming the volunteers which seem to have been more and more shafted as the event went on with little or no real thanks or praise. yet Time media were pocketing all the proceeds.
Struggled with this as best of show also...guess the fantasy league have encroached in the UK also.

This has got to be the best piece of rubbish press release ever ...

As Gells say MyTime never even thanked anyone I see from Malc in another post he and Adrian and others found out by text!..

Unbelievable the way the whole thing has been handled .,extremely badly , no consultation with anyone involved ..just "close the door on your way out"

Rant over

Nap

PS I agree about the BOS , great piece of modelling but others were well in contention for it IMO

What a diabolical disgrace.Think of a worker after 31 years service, being told by text, you're no longer needed.Cheerio, bye bye, shut the door behind you on the way out.
There's obviously been some discussion between My Time and the actual organisers,so it's time they got off their collective arses and at least give the troops a wee bit more info on the goings on that lead up to the demise of the show.
Time to speak up, or i'll maybe think you've been given a wee incentive to keep your gobs shut.
Brian
P.S. Where i stand on this Euro closure,is that i'm saddened by the news, but the way it was delivered was heartless to say the least.
Hopefully they'll be something that can replace it in the future, which i would back wholeheartily, but what angers me, is that's got to be the shortest ill informed, here's your P45 cheerio announcement ever.
