How to paint chest/legs hair?

Can anyone give me some tips on how to paint chest/legs hair with oils?

Very carefully!

But seriously:

• practice first;
• use your own legs or photographs for reference (if you try to do this kind of thing by memory it's very easy to make mistakes);
• ensure the paint for the skin is fully dried in case you need to wipe off any mistakes;
• use a brush with a sharp point;
• make sure the paint is as just the right consistency;
• I would recommend you use brown and not straight black;
• work in small areas at a time;
• constantly check one area against another to make sure you're being consistent;
• last but not least, if you find it's not going well stop and try again later.

A raw umber is a correct brown? Or sepia?
