HRH Prince Philip, Commemoration Bust

This was initially produced as a simple bareheaded V bust. However I added an Admiral's cap, pedestal and ensign and MMM kindly reproduced it as a Commemoration Bust. Trying to sort out his medal ribbons, especially the NZ one with the zigzag lines, was not easy, especially as his medals seemed to vary according to uniform and occasion.

I undercoated with white primer and blocked in the colours with acrylics. The face was finished in oils, shading and metals were a mixture of acrylics and enamels, with Tamiya smoke on the lace and metals.
